TIMOTHY ELDRED, WAVES CREATOR
Timothy Eldred is a husband, father, teacher, writer, speaker, and person of faith. He’s also a friendly disruptor of the status quo on a mission to end aloneness and help people live with authenticity.
For 30 years, Tim has also served as a pastor helping people dream and discover a fresh perspective for life while reaching their desires and releasing their potential as children of God.
In 2005, Tim became the President of Christian Endeavor International, which is widely recognized as the oldest youth movement in North America. In 2016, Tim and his team launched WAVES to give young people around the world a new way to experience faith taking action.
Tim’s books on spiritual formation have been used by more than 600,000 people in over 90 countries, and he has trained over 20,000 leaders in nearly 40 nations. His best-selling book, Alone Sucks, continues to impact lives to help people discover their true identity through the power of relationships.
In addition to his work at WAVES, Tim is involved in rescuing children from trafficking and slavery as a board member of Hope Partners International. He is currently working with his team to create a new campaign to transform the foster care system and make sure every child has a forever home.
Tim and his wife, Cindy, have two adults sons and make their home in a quiet, rural community central Michigan, USA. Tim is completing his Ph.D. in organizational management and leadership.
